About Lindsay

Working with children and their families is her passion!

Lindsay has been practicing as a pediatric speech and language pathologist since 2008.  She began her career in Washington State in an outpatient pediatric therapy center, where she learned the importance of collaboration with other therapists and professionals.  While living in DC since 2012, she has worked in pediatric medical settings, for Early Intervention/Strong Start services, and at a public charter school in NE DC.

Lindsay's therapeutic approach is family-centered and neurodiversity affirming.  She builds an authentic connection with you and your child to further develop your child's unique strengths while addressing areas of growth.  This individualized approach leads to progress!  She is happy to include siblings and the entire family in therapy sessions.  Therapy can take place in all types of naturalistic settings, including homes, daycares, parks, hiking, and the library.

Lindsay's academic background includes a Master's Degree from the University of Iowa and a Bachelor's Degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  She is an accredited member of ASHA (the American Speech and Language Hearing Association), and she holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence.  Please read more to learn about her special certifications and trainings.
